Not just any water source! We’re not even from the area and believe that’s important.
The only reason we knew he messed that up is because we went to the museum and saw the saying on a placard and it was that moving! It’s the sea brought us here and the sea will take us home. He quoted the water brought me here and the water takes me home. He also told a story of the slaves that killed themselves and he messed that up. Several people left the tour early and he didn’t even notice or just didn’t care. We had to roll our eyes and shake our heads in disbelief. It was said at EVERY stop and I’m not exaggerating. Did a tour with friends and unfortunately it was horrible! Steve was our guide and all he could do is talk about himself! “Did you know I’m famous?” This was his introduction and reminder though out the tour.
